This cozy vacation home is just a short drive away from the vibrant beach culture of Manzanita, set back in a wooded residential neighborhood just minutes from Nehalem Bay and the majestic Northern Oregon Coast. Contemporary in style, its spacious open-concept interior is perfect for families and groups.

Rest and relax at home or collect seashells and explore tide pools on Manzanita's beach, which lies two miles west. Head south to kayak, fish, and view wildlife in Nehalem Bay, or hike on seaside trails in Nehalem Bay State Park that give stunning cliffside views of the Pacific Ocean. Or, if it's shopping you're after, check out the gift stores and quaint boutiques in Neahkahnie Beach, which is just over two miles northwest.

This home is inspired by its natural surroundings, including a moss green motif, nature art, and spacious, private outdoor decks shaded by cedars. Throw a few logs in the living area's wood stove and settle in while a cozy fire warms the room. Catch an afternoon nap on either of the comfy couches or spread out even more on the adjacent brown leather sectional couch.

With an abundance of cutout windows, the living area is bathed in plenty of natural light filtered through the cool green of the cedar trees. From the living area, you can access the outdoor deck, where a gas grill awaits a summertime barbecue.

Speaking of dining, head back inside to whip up a fresh feast in the full kitchen, which offers modern appliances, ample counters, and varied cookware to assist in your culinary endeavors. Eat together at the nearby dining table, or take the meal onto the deck.

When it's time to call it a day, head to either of the two bedrooms downstairs or the primary bedroom upstairs to get the restful sleep you deserve. Up to six guests will sleep comfortably on queen-size beds in two of the rooms, and there's a comfortable futon mattress in the third sleeping space.

There are two full bathrooms, one on each level, which means nobody has to wait too long for a shower. Other amenities include WiFi and a washer/dryer.

Many fun day trips are possible from this home's great location. Sip acclaimed local wine at the Nehalem Bay Winery, or spend a day crabbing in the Nehalem River. You could also take a horse ride along the beach, or hike up to the top of Neahkahnie Mountain and take in the dazzling panoramic views from 1,600 feet above town.

Ready for a fantastic getaway in Manzanita? Book this Northern Oregon Coast vacation home and start planning your adventures today!

Cozy stay
The overall impression of this property was positive. The place was very clean and very comfortable for our party of 6 and we stayed only one night. On the negative side, whomever ran the dishwasher last didn't finish the cycle, and water pooled inside leaving a nasty stench for us when we opened it. Also not a biggie, but black ants were quick to pop out the moment any food was left on the counter. For using the TV's, I recommend streaming from your phone or bringing your own streaming device since the TV's are outdated as slow. Those few things a side, our family loved the open layout, and privacy.

A fine place to stay
The house is tucked in close to other houses but that was not a problem. I noticed the bathroom smelled like urine and realized it was coming from the shower curtain which had a yellow streak across it. I reported it to the property manager and they were quick to offer help. This place is nothing fancy, but a great location for having fun at the beach. As other people have noted it is pretty pricey when all of the fees are added. If you are lucky enough to be in town when "kareoke from hell" is happening at the San dune bar, do go! It is amazing live band kareoke that was honestly the best part of our stay!

More than we needed
By time all parties got their rental management cuts, the property cost more than double what we expected.

The house was very nice, clean and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. It would’ve been nice to have end tables in the living room and we couldn’t find any salt or kitchen wash cloths to wipe down the counters. Also the fans in the bathrooms need to be cleaned. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Beautiful house, but somewhat inaccurate listing
Beautiful house - comfortable beds & great bathrooms. No hair dryer in the house, although listed in the amenities. Emailed both the VRBO & Vacasa app with no reply.

Comfortable
Loved the patio. The house wasn’t very clean. A Kleenex was in between the sheets so I wonder if they were washed. The coffee makers reservoir was very moldy and mostly full of old coffee. Someone didn’t empty and clean it. Thank goodness I had the for thought to look prior to making coffee. We would come back for sure. Feels more like a cabin in the woods than at the beach. Overall pleasant
