"The cottage was fantastic. Had all the amenities. It was in a quiet neighborhood, with a view of a golf course, but easy driving distance to the Volcanoes National Park and the town of Volcano. We were very busy seeing the various attractions of the island, such as waterfalls, the black sand beach and South Point, and hiking in the National Park. We wished we could have spent more time at the cottage. Highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again. "

"Though this property intentionally lacked amenities that large, resort like properties provide, it hit the mark in what was promised: a quiet, intimate experience that is close to nature and the nighttime sky! Though secluded, the location is close enough to Pahoa to make dining and a trip to the store to resupply convenient.The grounds are beautifully manicured and at night the stars are vivid and accompanied by a chorus of Coqui frogs!
