« We loved staying at Volcano House! The property is beautiful and relaxing. It’s close enough to Hilo and ideally located right next to the Volcano national park. On Sunday the 20th we got an alert for Kīlauea episode 29 and quickly went to the lookout. We beat the crowds and watched the eruption, it was awesome. I still can’t believe how lucky we were to see it. I highly recommend staying here, the house is outstanding. »

Not as secluded as you might think - which could be good or bad depending on what you’re looking for… Neighbors were noisy at times and you can hear highway traffic.
