Cozy Volcano Cottage

A garden oasis! This free-standing cottage is resting on gorgeous landscaped grounds with dense natural rainforest surrounding two sides of the home within a neighborhood setting. The subdivision is a mix of homes styles and ages with some newly constructed houses near by. The Plantation cottage although a newer build was designed with a vintage Plantation aesthetic with 1950s decor. Just a few miles from the Volcanoes National Park main entrance.

What a great cottage! I loved the heated bathroom floors, outdoor shower, cozy bedding, great decor, and a gas cooktop. The host’s communications were clear and timely. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at this cottage in Volcano. The grounds and house were so peaceful and we absolutely loved the outdoor shower with the frog serenade. Great location for visiting Volcano National Park as well. Property was in excellent condition and clean. Communication with property manager was excellent as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to recommend this place and would happily stay again. Thanks you for a great vacay!

Amazing anniversary stay.

Relaxing two weeks in a mini heaven. Amazing property, clean, well appointed. Close to the volcano, with a pleasant drive down the mountain. The outdoor shower was a plus. We hope to return.

Rainforest Oasis

This home was surrounded by beautiful rain forest. The home is located close to Hawaii Volcano National Park and a short drive from Hilo. The home had everything we needed and the owner was quick to reply. We’d love to stay here again and recommend it for anyone wishing to stay close to the park.

Perfect cottage oasis among the trees

Can’t recommend this stay enough. It was perfect for us. The bed was super comfortable. The fireplace was just right. The kitchen was new and well appointed and perfect for our meals between hikes at the volcano. The bathtub was just the medicine we needed for sore muscles and the outdoor shower was luxurious. Try taking a hot shower in a rainstorm. It’s actually quite divine. Tagging this as a favorite. I stay every year in Volcano and I have to say this place is in my top three.

Beautiful place to welcome 2025

My sister and I stayed at the cottage and loved our visit. The cottage is clean and comfortable. It is decorated beautifully and has everything you need for a quiet stay in Volcano. Check-in was a breeze and we can’t wait to return. The outside shower is amazing.

Rainforest Get Away

The property was an amazing rainforest retreat. The house was very modern and clean. The outdoor shower was such an experience along with the outdoor firepit. The landscape felt like you were inside a botanical garden. I would 100 percent recommend this property.

Comfortable Cozy Cottage

My wife and I and our two girls enjoyed our stay here. The proximity to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park was perfect. After a long day exploring the park, we were exhausted and it was nice having a short drive back to the cottage. The beds were super comfortable - we slept so well! We also enjoyed the overall vibe of the space, including the retro refrigerator, the record player, and the large collection of Hawaiian vinyls.

Cozy cottage in the forrest

My son and I had the most peaceful time relaxing in nature. The cottage was so nicely decorated and comfortable. It was a bit chilly for us so we got to enjoy the fireplace also! I appreciated the quality of the windows that kept out the loud coqui frog symphony that was happening outside every evening lol Would definitely recommend and go back again.
