"John and his team run the place with grace and pride - really good location and everywhere locally is easy to get to, also it’s close to shops so can get things if needed for kids / family. Will consider staying there again for next trip to the locality. "

"We received the warmest of welcomes from Jim, the proprietor. He was so lovely, funny and kind. Although the Shenandoah is a period house, it is right up to date, the decor and furniture looked new. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent, there was probably something to suit everyone. I’m a bit of a Nespresso addict and usually take a machine with me when I travel, I didn’t this trip but was delighted when I found a Nespresso machine in the breakfast room. The Shenandoah has rooms to suit most. It even has glamping pods if you fancy something a bit different. There is off street parking. Thanks, Jim, it’s obvious that you’d go the extra mile for your guests! "

"A lovely hotel with beautiful surroundings. Nothing was too much trouble to ask the staff. Had a sea view room with a balcony with outside seating. Plenty of parking spaces. Food in the restaurant and bar was amazing. A great 2 night break. "
