The lovely sandy beach is just a short stroll beyond the harbour which also houses the pavilion for food and drinks from breakfast right up to supper with fairy lights on the balcony.you can actually walk all the way around the harbour in full circle.the buses at the harbour run every 8 mins clockwise and anticlockwise serving Ramsgate, Margate and Broadstairs so you can catch them all in one trip. The guy running the hotel is very friendly and if you have any issue or request you can whatsapp him rather than going to reception, which I found super convenient. I wish more hotels did that! Rooms were huge, clean, basic. Great view if front facing. Downside for the location was the noise. The bars were noisy until 3am, so wouldnt recommend for a quiet get away.
