Super friendly hosts; great location; lovely decorated property, including the room and common areas. Breakfast was amazing and delicious! Would recommend to anyone (as long as they are comfortable with climbing stairs).

My first rating was excellent and I would have loved to even upgraded if it was possible since it was really even better than excellent!!!!! Gwen and Ken went beyond receiving us in their lovely home and what can I say about that absolutely beautiful and delicious breakfast ( the best potatoes I have ever eaten). You can tell they really love having you as guests.

From the time we arrived on bicycles to when we departed, Gwen was an incredibly helpful hostess! And those welcoming cookies...Gwen also helped us find the best way out of town to our next day's destination, after a wonderful breakfast. I loved everything about Rose Arden. I had a very comfortable overnight stay in a single room in a lovely home that was perfect for my visit with an old friend who lived nearby. It was great value and in a beautiful quiet location with an amazing view. The host couldn't have been more helpful. And the breakfast was wonderful. If I visit Hamilton again I’ll definitely want to stay at Rose Arden.

We loved everything about our stay. Gwen was so kind. She baked us a lemon loaf. Had a personal fridge stocked with yogurt & soda. Then in the morning her & her husband made us a delicious breakfast, where she packed mine to go because i couldn't eat it all while there, but did on the road. We definitely will go back & hopefully stay longer. 10 out of 10 highly recommend
