"The house could not possibly be more perfect.First, the location: The property is situated only 10 to 15 minutes from downtown Bar Harbor, so fine dining and shopping are a quick car ride away. But the cabin itself is secluded and quiet, located in a breathtakingly beautiful setting with gorgeous sunsets. It’s great to be able to enjoy the amenities of the town, but still be able to escape the crowds to such a lovely setting. Outstanding hiking is also available minutes away in Acadia National Park.The cabin itself is comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen has everything that a chef could want for dinners at home. The living room is cosy and comes with a fireplace. Overlooking the water, the deck has Adirondack chairs, a dining table and a top of the line grill. Everything is meticulously clean, with plentiful linens and paper products provided. Finally, communication with the owner was outstanding. She was readily available during the stay and checked in several times to make sure everything was going smoothly. We had absolutely no issues during our visit.In summary, I cannot imagine a better place to stay in this area. We have already booked for next year."
"Our stay was awesome. Our cabin was clean, super comfortable & the innkeepers were helpful with recommendations for dinners & places to put our paddleboards in locally. Our dogs were in heaven w/ the pond & ability to play in the large yard. We’ll be back for sure! "

"The home was comfortable with beautiful views and convenient to Acadia, restaurants, other island spots. Loved being so close to the beach . Also enjoyed the wildlife. Was perfect"
"The host is amazing: responsive and very kind. But the property is not a stand alone cottage and people kept opening our door throughout our stay. We felt we had to constantly keep the door locked and even when it was locked, people were typing in codes to the door pad and/or knocking. Having a 1 yr old on the premises was also difficult as there is a very steep spiral staircase to get upstairs. "
"This was a nice cabin in the woods. The one strange thing is the downstairs is not connected to the upstairs in side the house. You have to go outside to get into the downstairs. We didn’t need the downstairs for sleeping so it was not an issue for us. Cabin is very cute and I loved all the personal artwork. Well stocked with dishes, towels, blankets, etc."
"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ocean View Cedar Chalet. The kitchen was stocked well, and house was comfortable for our family of seven. Close proximity to Acadia and town of Bar Harbor allowed us to explore. Jamie was helpful with suggestions before our arrival. Would recommend!"
