The room, balcony and view was spectacular. If you are thinking of going here, stop thinking, just book it, and definitely upgrade to the Gold experience, it’s worth it. « We had a wonderful stay! This cottage is cozy and comfy, providing everything we needed for a great visit. It’s in a quiet neighborhood close to Waimea but also close to the beach. We enjoyed watching the birds and the amazing views of Mauna Kea. It’s clean and well kept. We did find some ants in the kitchen but the owners responded right away to take care of the problem. We did have a bit of trouble figuring out where to go when we arrived. It wasn’t obvious from the info provided that we...

« This was our 5th trip to Big Island and our favorite accommodations by far. Fairways is a perfect little gated complex with a great layout in a location close to the grocery store, golf course and Fairmont. Our 9-year old enjoyed exploring around the complex in a pack with other kids, checking out all the plants and wildlife (including a flock of wild turkeys!!). The unit itself is really close to the pool so logistics are easy but not so close that pool traffic is an issue. Most importantly,...

« This place was amazing! So clean and SO creative. Lots of cute frog-themed touches. They definitely put heart in to developing this oasis. Definitely arrive in the afternoon if possible so you can enjoy the property. The waterfalls and creeks are gorgeous! Be sure to eat before you arrive or bring food, as nearby options are limited. "Very nice place. All new, clean and the room was SO spacious. The pool is amazing for the kids especially. The pool restaurant was perfect but Piko for dinner was more average. The emplacement of the resort is a bit far from the action (Kona town) so you really need a car. Having said that, our 4 nights was perfect and I would got back. "
