If you're a bird watcher, you'll love spending time on the porch, soaking in the sights and sounds. A vehicle is definitely handy for exploring the nearby malls and fascinating historical sites. Inside, we enjoyed the comfort of an air conditioning unit, microwave, and a little refrigerator, all surrounded by inviting sliding glass doors that let in plenty of natural light.One tip for light sleepers: consider bringing an eye mask, as the curtains don't fully block out the morning sun. The studio may be small, but we found it to be just right for our needs, and we were genuinely happy during our stay. Our host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home, even greeting us upon our late arrival and respecting our privacy.Just a quick note: avoid running the hair dryer and air conditioner at the same time—you might trip the fuse! The view is spectacular, and the songs of the birds and other wildlife in the morning is wonderful. A wonderful location between Hawi, Waimea, and the beaches of Hapuna and Puako. Our hosts were warm and generous, and we made good use of the masks and snorkles available as well as the beach chairs! Located on a hillside away from the touristed areas with nice views. Loved hearing the myriads of birds singing in the mornings. Nice spots outside to relax and unwind. Really appreciated the fresh fruit as well!Is a bit hard to find the driveway after dark, although iPhone with Goggle Maps did just fine. 40 min. drive from the airport; 20 min. drive to Island Gourmet Markets at The Queen's Marketplace (good place for groceries and much more).Could use some sprucing up... ##### Diane C.
