"Very nice old hotel but hallways were not best kept, one of the elevators was missing the button to our floor. That said, the mineral pools were very nice, though did have some leaves in it."

"The room was clean and quaint and the jacuzzi was a welcome reprive at the end of the day. Our only suggestion would be to turn the heat on this late in the fall as the room was on the coolish side."

"**An Incredible Retreat Property — One Surprise After Another!**We rented this extraordinary home for our senior leadership team's annual retreat, and it became so much more than a place to stay. The house was an adventure in itself!The fantasy-inspired design is wonderfully imaginative, but the real magic is in the seemingly endless collection of hidden rooms, secret entrances, unusual passages, and unexpected surprises. Just when we thought we'd figured everything out, someone would discover something new!In fact, **we didn't find all the rooms until the end of our second night!** It became a running source of laughter and excitement as our team compared discoveries, explored mysterious doorways, and sent one another off to investigate. Even finding our bedrooms was an adventure! The house just kept revealing new surprises, and we absolutely loved it.Beyond the novelty, the property was fantastic for our retreat. Plenty of gathering space for serious discussions, comfortable places to relax, and private areas to recharge. The playful atmosphere encouraged creativity, connection, and a wonderful sense of camaraderie.We arrived ready to tackle organizational challenges and left refreshed, energized, and closer as a team. This remarkable house genuinely helped make that happen.**If you're looking for somewhere truly memorable, this is it. We'd return in a heartbeat!**"

"Our family stays here religiously as it has always been a great hotel. Staff go above and beyond and are very accommodating for our lil dog. Over the past year the hotel has seen some renovations. One thing that has sadly been overlooked is the fitness facility. A bad musty smell, a scary weight bench and old bikes show the gyms age."
