"We couldn't have found a better hotel for its value and proximity to the National Mall! While we were initially hesitant on selecting the Marriott due to past reviews regarding noisy disturbances, we were lucky to be placed in a room facing the peaceful courtyard. It was (a little too) quiet, beautifully furnished, and more than comfortable. The front desk and hotel cleaning staff were friendly and attentive. The expansive fitness center and complimentary water were a huge plus too! The hotel is conveniently located near the Metro, grocery stores, food spots, and Capitol Hill. We will definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in the area. "

"This hotel has been the best we have stayed in so far during our US trip. The lovely staff member upgraded our room complimentary upon hearing we were celebrating our honeymoon. The room was huge - more like an apartment. The dining was incredible - we loved all our meals and the lovely wait staff. Can’t recommend this place more highly - especially if you like old charm accommodation "
