"We spent a week at this very nice home. The place had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The clean three bedroom, two bath house has been updated to include solid surface floors which was a bonus with our dogs. We appreciated being able to bring them. The yard was spacious with a chicken coop at the back of the property. It was fun seeing the chickens. Our kids enjoyed playing games in the yard. The owners were very friendly and quick to respond to our questions. While the location is isolated, it is just a short drive to Port SANILAC or Lexington. There are restaurants and beaches just a short drive away. We traveled to Frankenmuth one day to meet family. It was an easy 1.5 hour drive. I would highly recommend staying here for a delightful stay near Lake Huron. "

We love rock hunting and found some good ones. The owner was great about keeping in touch with us and telling us about things going on in the area. I would diffidently recommend this place. "

"Well, where to start. We arrived at the property for a two-night stay on Friday, June 27. The property was in complete disarray: most of the beds were disassembled, there was no air conditioning or even fans in 90-degree weather, the pool and hot tub were dirty and cold, there was no WiFi… I could go on and on. That’s not to mention the expired fire extinguishers and missing smoke detectors. The grounds were not maintained and there was garbage piled up in the parking area. We reached out to Vrbo support and the host that night. She claimed she had got her dates mixed up and thought we weren’t coming until Saturday. At that point she promised to refund our first night since it was obviously not livable conditions.I really wanted to give this host the benefit of the doubt. I expected this to be rectified so I could leave a decent review. However, it has now been two weeks, and I have given the host and/or Vrbo every opportunity to make this right. After contacting each of them multiple times, I still have not made any progress on getting any sort of refund. When the host did finally respond after a week, she wanted me to sign something in order to get my money back. Avoid this property."

"We stayed at this property to celebrate my mother’s 60th birthday, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this home—it was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. With 30 of us (including small, co-sleeping toddlers, approved in advance by House Management), this home provided the ideal blend of space, privacy, and gathering areas.As the family coordinator for this trip, I wanted to offer future renters some helpful details that aren’t included in the standard listing. From the front, the property features two main entrances and is essentially designed as two connected townhomes. Each side mirrors the other with identical layouts. In front of each entrance are two designated parking spaces, and just across the street is a gravel lot with free additional parking. There are 4 total levels to the home, and 10 bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom. There are 6 half bathrooms, with 2 located on the main, and 2 each on the lower and loft areas of the home.Bedrooms:Main Level: (2) King bedroomsLower Level: (2) King bedrooms w/ walkout access to the outdoor space, (1 per side)Third Level: (6) Queen bedrooms, (3 per side)Fourth level: No bedrooms, just a half bathroom, wetbar and access to a private balcony that faces the lake.Kitchens:There are 4 fully stocked kitchens. Two on the main level and 2 on each lower level leading to the outdoor space. Out back there's a gas grill and flat top grill.Overall this space is perfect! I highly recommend it!"

"Our stay was great! The beach on the property has a lot of rocks, the doggos loved it! We headed down the road for a nice sandy beach for the little ones.Property has everything you need, surprisingly very clean for such an old house. We would definitely return."
