"There was so much awesomeness about this rental, its hard to figure out where to start. First, I received an information sheet that answered many of my VRBO style questions. Location of the nearest boat ramp, bait store, grocery store, available guides, etc. Also listed were the included amenities inside the house, Ice machine in the boat house. Huge fish cleaning table. Lots of exterior lighting. House freshly remodeled, so everything is new. I liked the coffee area is apart from the cooking, preparing area. Whoever is making breakfast isn't dodging sleepyheads looking for their morning cup. The food pantry was in the laundry room, I believe that kept the kitchen better organized. Pots and pans in kitchen are brand new and good quality. House is located on a canal with 2 boat slips. The purpose of our trip was fishing, and we kept the boats in the slip the whole time, didn't have to trailer them at night. Lake Calcasieu is an awesome fishing location. "

"The area is great, it has a natural beauty to it that you can only find here. The cabin was beautiful and fully stocked with everything we would need for our weekend. Also it was my favorite cabin in the lot because there was no neighbors on either side and an open field behind it so you felt a lot more secluded. We will definitely come back to Holly Beach and this was the best rental for how low the cost was"
