« The unit itself was very nice, well appointed and in a great location. It had everything we needed to cook and bake. The fresh loaf of local bread was a really nice surprise. At the time of our stay (May 2024) the staircase down to the unit was under construction. The only way down to the unit was a dangerous trail with wobbly steps. This was a challenging climb in and out, but with luggage, it was a nightmare. »

La maison est idéalement située pour se rendre à Sausalito, afin d'y prendre un repas ou visiter les Boathouse. Elle est toute aussi proche de la nature, plage, montagne. C'est un excellent point de départ pour la Napa et la Sonoma Valley, tout en étant à 30 minutes de San Francisco. Superbe endroit au calme en pleine nature. »

The furnishings are quite sparse but all nicely comfortable and functional, with very good facilities all around in the bathroom and the well-equipped kitchen. It is relaxingly quiet and private, and in a pleasant area. Great location for a visiting academic (as I am), with an easy walk to the university campus, lots of restaurants of all kinds nearby, and BART station. I’d be very happy to stay again on future visits! »

« This is our second time renting Linda’s cottage this spring & it’s such a treasure! We thoroughly enjoy the convenience of having the beach, grocery store, restaurant, bakery, snack bar & playground within walking distance. This was our grandson’s first trip to the beach & it was absolutely perfect! At 63 years old I even boogie boarded again! Such a great break from the hot Sacramento Valley. »

« We are locals and this was the perfect getaway to our favorite beach in the area. Easily walkable to restaurants, the beach, and one of our top hikes (Matt Davis). Perfect for a family of 4. It's part of a hub of cottages and I would love to look into booking out a block of them with families/friends. Property interior is super cute and newly renovated. Can't wait to return! »

« Our interaction with the owner and his helpfulness to us was remarkable. I even had to have something shipped prior to my arrival and he was happy to receive it for me. The accommodations are first reight, fresh flowers, coffee in the refrigerator, clean and comfortable. Everything was as good as we could've asked. We were in San Rafael for a wedding and this was a perfect two nights for us to rest. »

« Location, location, location. We love being so close to the beach. Your cottage is adorable and we loved it again. As far as feedback, we have some. The backyard was a bit run down this time. The fence was broken I imagine from the rain storms . It also looks as though the gardener left piles which were needed to be recycled into the green bin. Last time the back yard was pristine. « The house was as displayed on the site. Proactive owner with communications, great quiet neiborhood. House interior could benefit by some minor upgrade: rusted ventilation grid, dirty shower ceiling, damaged chair in bedroom. Sofa bed in living room was not very comfortable for sleepers, even though we were not expecting a A bed either from a sofa bed. Overall we managed to have great vacations. Thanks »
