"Right in the ❤️of Half Moon Bay!"
The room was great, clean and comfortable bed. The owner, Sheila was fabulous to us. The sat. Wine & cheese was nice. We stayed in the main house & all rooms looked great. The only drawback was the manager Maria. She was so rude & could care less about customer service. We asked to check in early & Maria rudely said 3 o'clock and when away. The owner told us rooms were ready. It was 2:30 so not asking much. Later. We asked Maria why and she looked at us and walked away refusing to talk to us. Shocked we were. Very rude girl.

"Magical experience in Union Square"
Besides the typical rain when I arrived, my stay in the city was wonderful. The desk agent at check in was extra friendly and comped me a round of drinks when I shared exciting news about a promotion at work. Beautiful room view of the city and Bay and loved the electric shade that lowered over the windows at night. Awesome bathroom - updated and modern decor and feel. Room service staff was polite and friendly and I was surprised with a bottle of champagne from a friend who knew I was staying at the Grand Hyatt, adding to the experience. The BarUp bartender was kind and attentive while friendly and personable, too. Great tall ceilings in the restaurant, lounge and main lobby areas. Down sides would be that my wifi had lots of trouble connecting and I had to call their Tech Support twice and they thought perhaps it was because I was in a corner room at the end of the hallway. I ended up bringing my laptop down to the lobby to connect. I'd also would have liked if there was a robe in the room. Otherwise, great accommodations and service.

"Special Anniversary!"
We spent 5 days in San Francisco and really enjoyed our stay at the Joie de Vivre. Our room was nice and cheerful. The location worked for us because we are very active and able to walk the distances to Union Square, Crissy Field, Ghirardelli Square, etc. One of the best parts of our stay was the staff! We interacted with several individuals and they were all very helpful and fun! Oscar, in particular, helped us several times which we really appreciated.

Thought we'd just watch TV in the room but th music in the lobby was so we some yhat we stayed and blis ed out to the tunes. Very friendly and helpful staff. I don't like having to pay for parking but I think that's quite normal for hotels in the US...

Remember to pack an extra towel, because when you’re bringing Sassy to SF, you can’t miss a date at the beach.

One of the most popular spots to bring your pooch in the city is Baker Beach. Located only 1.6 km south of the Golden Gate Bridge, it’s a prime area to do some sightseeing as well as jogging with your best friend. Off-leash dogs are permitted north of Lobos Creek, if you and Ruby want to play some fetch along the shore. If you’d rather do some hiking while in the city, make your way to Bernal Hill Dog Park at Bernal Heights. This off-leash area features some steep inclines, which is perfect for larger dogs that could use more of a challenge. If your pet is a city animal, bring him or her to the Castro Street Fair during the first weekend of October. This loud and proud parade features revelers of all types. Just remember to leash up your pet before heading into the enthusiastic crowds.
