"Our stay at Washington Square Hotel was excellent. We had an interior room which was very quiet and clean. The AC worked great during our unexpectedly warm stay, and staff was friendly and responsive. There was a small continental breakfast in the lobby, which included espresso drinks - great when you have a packed itinerary. They also provided coffee and water throughout the day in the lobby. You can't beat the location, and we would/will definitely stay here again. "

"The room and bathroom was very clean and well kept! The views were amazing from the balcony and definitely the highlight of my stay. The hotel is walking distance from some good restaurants and coffee shops. The subway is also close by if you want to take the L line into Manhattan. I would definitely stay here again!"

"The team here is extremely attentive and very thorough. They got me checked in swiftly, explaining the amenities and how to access them. My room was clean and the AC worked. During my stay the weather was nice, so I was able to crack the windows open for some fresh air. Additionally, they delivered a tea kettle to my room with tea bags and all. The complimentary breakfast was okay. They had solid oatmeal options, yogurt, and fruits. They had tea and coffee which I didn't try."

"Excellent hotel with clean and ergonomically furnished room that made good use of space. I was on the 9th floor and the view was wonderful to wake up to with the bed right up against the window. I especially liked the shower pressure! I had the best night sleep I’ve ever had in NY. Highly recommend! "

"Pluses: 1. The location was accessible to restaurants and public transport. 2. The size of the rooms is good enough for a family of four. We didn't stay in the room other than for sleep, so the space was not a big deal, but if you are looking for a room to relax, this won't be the right choice, but for NYC, this is good enough. 3. The bed was really good, I turn around a lot in sleep, my spouse didn't feel it. It was really comfortable. Minor minuses: 1. The complaint we had was that there was no water for a brief few hours the next day of our arrival. We checked in late at night, due to the water shutoff, we had to get ready early to avoid being stuck for long. This was not notified when we checked in by the staff; we almost missed the notice in the room until my kid picked it up and tried to read it. 2. The AC didn't work that well to circulate air. I left the window open a bit,t but it was 40's outside, so we shut it off. The exhaust in the bathroom didn't work either. Except for these minor inconveniences, the stay was ok to roam NYC."
