The hotel is ideally situated diagonally across the road from the impressive basilica, 30metres from bus station and also 30metres from the (helpful) Tourist Office. The breakfast (included in the hotel tariff) was hearty."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Residenzschloss Bayreuth. My room was spacious, clean and lovely and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The staff are very polite and friendly.
The breakfast is excellent with a wide range of food to start the day.

"The fact that the Castle (Restaurant, Falken Show, and Sophies Cave ) are all closed on Monday is very inconvenient. At least it should made know before booking."
