The Space: These modern, spacious duplex apartments were newly converted in 2021, with modern furnishings and king size beds, As you enter the hallway for each, you'll see a welcoming open plan kitchen, dining and living area. Both apartments come with L-shape sofa beds to sleep 2, wall mounted Smart TV, beautifully staged display shelving and coffee table. Both apartments also have a dining table to seat 4 and a stylish royal blue kitchen with a oven, induction hob, fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave, toaster and dishwasher. There is a variety of glassware, crockery and cookware provided. They have a luxurious marble effect, tiled shower room with double shower unit, floating vanity basin, light up mirror and WC. Each bedroom houses a comfy king-size bed with velvet effect headboard. Up one flight of stairs to the second floor is another king size bedroom, wall mounted smart TV, with dressing table and mirror. Ensuite, light and airy shower room. Only apartment 1 includes a walk-in dressing area and clothes hanging space. Hair dryers, Iron & ironing board, bed linen and towels are all provided in each apartment. 2 cot beds per group booking. Please note there is no lift within this property. Guest Access: Self check- in, access details will be provided before check in. The Neighborhood: On the doorstep of this apartment lies the once named "best High Street in Britain". Bishopthorpe Road offers an eclectic mix of local retailers, with an array of bars, exceptional brunch, lunch and dinner restaurants and cafes you'll be spoilt for food choices within a few feet from the apartment. If you fancy a walk during your stay both Rowntree Park and York Racecourse are a short wander away by the River Ouse. Heading in the other direction over Skeldergate Bridge, you'll be greeted by stunning river views, Clifford's Tower and the City walls. Shops galore can be found in the city centre down the winding streets and snickleways you're sure to stumble across one of the many places to eat and drink that York has to offer. Getting Around: If you are looking for a more relaxing way to see the city, there are plenty of hop on and off red bus tours, the nearest pickup point is by Clifford's tower. Taxis can be found everywhere in the city. The best way to take everything in is by foot, along the river bank, walking the city walls, or taking in all that Bishopthorpe Road has to offer. Other Things to Note: Cot bedding and linen, is not provided.
