Perfect for our needs

Our stay was great. Would have enjoyed more if we had planned to stay longer. Pool and hot tubs were very good.

We've been to Long Beach Lodge several times before, and this time did not disappoint! They were easily able to accommodate a room set up request, and the staff and food (and views of course!) in the great room are unparalleled. Despite already having high expectations as we have been wowed at LBL before, the staff still managed to exceed them. The Spa area that was added a few years back is also a great addition that we tried this time - and treatment from Jordyn was amazing! As we booked last minute, we ended up in a 'dog friendly' room, and I should mention that the room was absolutely immaculate and did not smell of wet beach dog at all.

I loved the view, the proximity to the beach and bay, the lawn between our porch and the boardwalk, (including a few resident bunnies) and the amazingly helpful, friendly and responsive staff. Daytrips to Qualicum Beach and Nanaimo were convenient, and walking distance to local shops and restaurants was no problem. We thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary use of robes in our room, and the availability of chairs to borrow for use on the lawn and the beach. And when the closest parking lot was full, it was easy to deal with valet parking by simply dropping our keys at the front desk. A delightful stay, which we highly recommend.
