However, until check-in we were completely unaware of the fact that we would be forced to attend a sales pitch for ownership at the resort. I would never have booked this listing had I known that.it was a very unfortunate discovery upon arrival, and a huge inconvenience during our family vacation."

The 10-minute walk to the metro took us through the adorable and friendly neighborhood. Mark was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. Highly recommend!"

"The house was really close to DC and made it easy to get into the city to see the memorials and museums. It was also close to the Zoo which made it nice to get an early start on the day. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed reading in the backyard around the fire pit while the little kids napped. We were able to park 2 minivans and an SUV in the parking area. "The location was good for us as it was in between Quantico and DC. Pictures are fairly accurate. It is definitely pet friendly. There are stains on the rugs and couch. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and comfortable. I would suggest getting a bigger couch to accommodate more guests that could be easily cleaned. This seems to be a common problem in rental property. The host was excellent. He communicates very well and is friendly."

"It was a quick trip to Mt Vernon and we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was adequate, but could use more silverware and plates. Also needs another kitchen towel or two. We had 7 people eating and eating together as a family was very tight at one table. Thank you."
