"We wanted a place near Joshua tree, but still accessable to Palm springs. This was it, it was just like the photos. We flew in late on our first day and it was dark, really dark, when we arrived, and we couldn't believe how many stars we could see from the back yard. The outdoor space was great: Outdoor table and chairs and seating area with fire table, pool, hot tub and hammocks - we used them all. Good property location, feels safe and it's quiet. Would return & would recommend. "

"We’ve stayed at some pretty nice vacation houses, but this place takes the cake. It’s set right on the border of Joshua Tree National Park, with no close neighbors and our back yard looks like a park itself. I basically chose this location after seeing the pictures of the pool surrounded by massive rocks. The owner Dale gave us a great tour when we arrived showing us all the history, artwork and personal artifacts that decorate the house. Definitely not your average white washed vacation rental. He really put his heart and soul into this place. Every room is full of character, painted in tones of orange and plum with baroque decor. Definitely the perfect place to relax and recharge."
