"The pool was closed for repair even though we asked if it was open. The arcade room is no longer there and there were no game room for the kids. The parking garage is very low, they should warn people about it. "

"This hotel is downtown, close to all shopping. McGill University, the underground, Place des Arts and the museums are all a short walk away."

"Elevator button on fifth floor had some weird white substance on it (candlewax?) and it took 3 whole days for someone to notice and clean it off. Breakfast was stale and lacklustre. Looks like the ceiling in my room was water damaged."

Le déjeuner était bon (céréales, toast, gruau, œufs, saucisses, patates, etc) La chambre était propre, assez spacieuse. Vrai frigo/congelateur. Prévoir quand même un 36+tx par nuit pour le stationnement si vous utilisez celui de l’hôtel. "

"Check in was really good, Abby was great. Unfortunately there was freezing rain the following day, nearly fell in front of the Hotel. The entire sidewalk was ice. I spoke to a young man on the phone at the front desk, i asked him to put salt down, told him i nearly fell. His response was "the city of montreal is responsible for putting down salt"..i was stunned by his lack of empathy. Later in the evening i phoned the front desk asked to speak with their manager, Mathilde spoke with me. After telling her about my concerns for my safety she said she was sorry but that the city is responsible for salting the sidewalk, that the Hotel was not responsible for weather conditions. I told her that i simply wanted to know if the Hotel would be salting the sidewalk, so i could safely get into an uber the next day...she said yes. The next morning there was salt covering most,not all of the sidewalk. This was very disturbing to me. Honesty I thought being a guest that my safety would mean something. I have stayed at the Monville many many times. I do not think i will be going back. "
