"The staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean. However, the sofa bed was almost completely worn out and the king-size bed mattress was very sagging. They are due for new mattresses."

"I paid extra for a room on the upper level. When we checked in, they said they were fully booked and put us on the ground floor beside the elevator. We asked for a room at a higher level and they placed us on the 3rd floor also beside the elevator. Because I originally paid extra, they gave me complimentary parking. The problem with the room was the water - there was only 2 temperatures. It was either ice cold or scalding hot no matter how I turned the temperature. When I told the front desk, she didn't offer any compensation or discounts, but just nodded and said she will send someone up, which did not make a difference because we only had a 1 night stay. We stayed at this hotel last year and based on our experience this year, it was definitely a lot less enjoyable. I don't intend to stay here again. "

"Wonderful hotel in perfect downtown location. Staff are so friendly and helpful, with several languages spoken which is really helpful. Nicely sized room, well-equipped. Super comfy bed. Tidy and clean bathroom with excellent water pressure. Included breakfast is vast and delicious."

"Excellent hotel situated on the harbour with outstanding views! The room was very clean with a very comfy bed and a lovely bathroom. Breakfast served in the lounge was excellent with a very good selection of foods to enjoy with the amazing harbour views. "

"Clean room, comfortable bed but no duvet covers on duvet and poor sound insulation from next room meaning sleep was disrupted. They blamed it on giving me a connected room. They gave me a late check out to 6 as opposed to 11 to make up for this but I had raised these concerns earlier. Location is excellent! "

"Hot pool was the highlight as our kids loved it. There were enough pool towels and the shower room and washrooms were clean and tidy. The doubles room we were in was small and basic although it served its purpose. The room and building was pet friendly. The room heater had a small sign that read that it can get hot and to make sure it is free of clutter. It could be bigger though as it is a safety hazard. "
