"Great stopover seconds from the Trans-Canada hwy"
Was travelling along highway and found this motel online. I wasn't sure what to expect. The couple who own the place were lovely. The room was clean and had the basics. Very convenient from the highway so it was easy to get up and out for the next leg of my journey.

"Convenient Montreal Boutique Hotel"
Prompt, no-fuss check-in. Room was well appointed and made efficient use of available space. Included breakfast was just right. In-house restaurant (Laurie Raphael) food is top-notch and although a bit pricey it is one of the better places to eat downtown (and there are MANY eateries nearby ...). All staff we interacted with was very pleasant, professional, and courteous. Any minor issues were addressed promptly and staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Only minor disappointment was room cleanliness. An example: upon arrival linens, towels, and bedding appeared to be very clean and fresh, but the rest of the room appeared to receive only a quick vacuuming and superficial dusting. Ottoman and lounge within room were stained and needed vacuuming and shampooing. Higher-level shelves within closets had a thick layer of dust.

"Nice hotel in a congested area."
My stay was overall decent. Nice hotel with huge pool, and complimentary bottle water. It's not the most convenient in terms of saving time. Parking lot was under construction, had to park four floors down, take elevator up to the building, then go into hotel, take another elevator to hotel lobby, then walk a giant circle around to get to room. Additionally, only allowed one in and out privilege a day for parking, unless you want to pay for the more expensive valet parking. Concierge seemed rushed in giving information, didn't offer recommendations till asked, front desk was more helpful. The room was a bit dusty, coffee machine, cup lids, lamps, all had visible dust on it. There was also hair in the shower when we arrived. A separate family we were traveling with had a much cleaner room, so it depends on who cleans the room.

"vacation. Loved Montreal. "
Nice early breakfast. Concierge staff very cute, pretty, friendly, helpful and extremely bright. Only one elevator, but we survived. Canadians don't seem to get the concept of allowing people off the elevator or off the subway before they barge in. A lack of basic courtesy. Boutiques and parks, churches and museums nice and close and fun. Easy to get to by foot and by metro. Overall, a wonderful time.
