Main water was down for the property upon arrival to the hotel, we drove 8 hours to a hotel that had no water. Couldn’t take a shower use the restroom. Staff was great but property was not great, no free breakfast for stay, didn’t do room service when we called and asked for it, did not enjoy our vacation due to these issues.

The Cambria is conveniently located for the convention centre. It's not as expensive as many of the big-name chains in the area. I've stayed there two years in a row. Last year, everything at the property was fine. Nothing was exceptional, but it felt like I was getting good value for the money I spent. This year, there were multiple examples of deferred maintenance, especially in the bathroom. Peeling wallpaper (from a patch), loose bathroom tap, and peeling layers on the sink. All reported to the front desk, but they didn't seem terribly surprised.

I want to first highlight Blake, Eric, and Tameka for their professionalism and excellent customer service during check-in and throughout my stay. After reading the reviews I picked this location with mixed feelings. But I decided to choose this location based on the indoor pool, refrigerator, microwave, rooftop w/fire pits, and on site restaurant. I booked the Junior Suite and it was very spacious and clean. The hotel overall was clean. The location was central to everything. PG Mall, Union Station, Target, Kennedy Center, etc. There are also other restaurants around the hotel, but due to the weather and limited hours of a few of them, I was unable to visit. I did get to visit Maxwell’s for drinks and it was a welcoming atmosphere with great drinks. As far as the amenities the indoor pool was drained and not available for use during my 4-day stay. The restaurant was only open for limited hours, the refrigerator only cooled your food for a max of 2 hours, and their was construction happening to repair one of the elevators which caused the one elevator to take a while and my room was right by the elevators, so there was noise everyday. I wasn’t able to relax and enjoy my time, which led me to check out a day early. I would like to recommend getting mini-fridges not coolers, updating on other travel platforms what amenities are not available, any construction, and the hours of the on-site restaurant. If you choose to book here call and check for updates.
