I want to first highlight Blake, Eric, and Tameka for their professionalism and excellent customer service during check-in and throughout my stay.
After reading the reviews I picked this location with mixed feelings. But I decided to choose this location based on the indoor pool, refrigerator, microwave, rooftop w/fire pits, and on site restaurant. I booked the Junior Suite and it was very spacious and clean. The hotel overall was clean.
The location was central to everything. PG Mall, Union Station, Target, Kennedy Center, etc. There are also other restaurants around the hotel, but due to the weather and limited hours of a few of them, I was unable to visit. I did get to visit Maxwell’s for drinks and it was a welcoming atmosphere with great drinks.
As far as the amenities the indoor pool was drained and not available for use during my 4-day stay. The restaurant was only open for limited hours, the refrigerator only cooled your food for a max of 2 hours, and their was construction happening to repair one of the elevators which caused the one elevator to take a while and my room was right by the elevators, so there was noise everyday.
I wasn’t able to relax and enjoy my time, which led me to check out a day early.
I would like to recommend getting mini-fridges not coolers, updating on other travel platforms what amenities are not available, any construction, and the hours of the on-site restaurant.
