« I’m so glad that we booked the Tea House. It was even more beautiful in person. We spent our days in Volcano NP (less than a 10 minute drive away) and after long days of adventuring were happy to turn on the fireplace, relax in the tub, and curl up in the super comfortable bed. The space was so peaceful and inviting. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. We would love to stay here again. »

« The pictures are touched up and the house is not as new as the pictures reflected. For example the bedspreads are white online but they are brightened so much you can’t tell they are actually dark grey. Carpet was gross. I’ll post pictures below. The bathrooms are old and dated but those pictures aren’t part of the listing. Also it doesn’t have air conditioning and it had a musty smell when you walk in. I requested to stay one day less since our flight was early in the morning and it’s a 2...

« Close to Volcano National Park. Quiet. Hosts made place feel welcoming with all lights and fans on. No AC. No dishwasher. Since all windows were open, it was buggy despite the window screens. Since it was cool at night, the August night was ok without AC. But, you had to wait for the night to be cool. Coqui frogs in the area. Even in the national park you heard frogs at night. Good for 1-2 night stay to visit Volcano National Park. 2 king beds as stated. Need to bring your own food...

"Me and my daughter had a very good experience at the Volcano Forest Inn. It is literally at 5 minute drive of the entrance of the Volcano National Park. Which allow us to visit the volcano easily. The rooms was pretty big, confortable and clean. The communication with the owner and our arrival was easy. We were warned by email that the weather could be chilly because of the rain forest. We were ok, but everyone should be aware that it was about 12 to 15 Celsius early mourning. Also there is a cleaning fee of 80$ that is not mentioned in Expedia web site. Overall, for the price, I would highly recommend this hotel."
