"Lovely area, laundry a bonus, air cooling units a plus, fire detector battery needs changed, a few more towels would be nice, and an extra baking sheet also. A bit dusty and locks could use a spray of silicone regularly. Overall a nice place to stay."

"From the first day we booked to the day that we left, we received almost immediate responses to every question we asked. As usual, there were a couple of arrival difficulties, but the host quickly took care of those. The house is beautiful. We were able to walk to the point and watch the waves and even some whales. They also made great suggestions about restaurants and supermarkets in the area."

"The views from the Lanai were absolutely gorgeous. Black Pebble Beach was just down the road to enjoy the sunsets and the sound of the ocean. It was about 45 minutes from Kailua Kona. The drive didn’t bother us as we drove all over the Island anyway. It was nice to go back to a peaceful community after a long day. Kitchen was fully stocked, beach towels, beach chairs, and boogie boards. The house did get hot with no air conditioning but we did open windows and doors after coming back and it...

"The location is simply fabulous. You walk out the back patio on grass and then black volcanic rock to the edge of the ocean surf. From the house, we delighted in exploring the network of roads and trails in the Pahoa district south of Hilo. Not to be missed is Uncle Robert's community music and food festival every Wednesday evening. In Hilo, the Pacific Tsunami Museum and the Lyman Museum are outstanding as well as the Hawaiian Tropical and Botanical Gardens, Akaka Falls and the Waipio Valley...

It was my first time in unit rental and it truly felt like a home away from home!! Everything was just as they say it was in the listing and the property owner/manager was super kind and patient. "We had a tournament in Hilo so we decided to stay at another location close to Hilo since we’ve recently stayed in Hilo. The location was great! 2-3 minute mile ride to wonderful beach views. The house was big and spacious! Every room had its own private full bath and balcony! The amenities were great, from the game room to the snorkel gear to the bikes provided! There was a Sunday market no more than 8 minutes away that was great! All in all if I come back to the big island I’m staying here...

"This was the perfect house for us. We especially loved the separate bedroom for our son to stay in. It was a fully stocked kitchen and a nice grill so we cooked in every night. The hot tub was great too! Mindi and John are wonderful hosts with top notch communication. The location was perfect for exploring the National Park and surrounding areas. The pictures just don't do this place justice, it's way cooler!"
