"The bathroom has zero towels bars, only 1 hook behind the door. Not even a place for a hand towel. The door swing practically hits into the toilet. The shampoo/conditioner/bath gel were very nice. But towels were also incomplete-missing a bath mat towel and not enough bath towels for our family. Parking is also ridiculously expensive. It is a great location though - 15-20 min walk to the beach. "

"Location location! Loved being so close to the beach and pier! Public parking garage was right next door and super convenient. Cute coffee shop and smoothie place steps away. Room was small but clean. Nothing fancy but nice place to rest. Just wish they had better pillows. It’s an older property but for the price and location I’d recommend. "

"Really great spot for our family. We had one afternoon to explore Santa Monica and Venice beach. Took a bike tour to Venice beach, then Waymo back. Ate dinner right near hotel. Then breakfast next morning nearby. Perfect location. Walk to beach, too. We did everything we wanted and it was all close. Pier really really close, but we skipped that to go to universal a couple of days later. "

"Sitting on the balcony, watching through palm trees as the sun sinks into the Pacific. That can't be anything but gorgeous. And glancing down gives you the pool view as well. Fairmont has the vibe of a happy hotel. The restaurant is excellent. Only one beef: smallness. Small room, small bathroom. "

"Room was clean but had some wear, restaurant staff tried to charge us $13 for a bottle of water which is ridiculous and there wasn’t a kids menu but a menu for dogs which is interesting. Just not a family vibe. The only good thing was the proximity to the beach and the bellman were very sweet and good at their jobs. We would not stay here again. "
