Please beware this place has a bug infestation and it’s so hard to get in and communicate with the people for the code. We couldn’t even stay because it was inhabitable. I reached out directly and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. Please save your time and money! my family had to look for another place around three in the morning. Such a hassle

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at mVillas Tamarindo! From the moment we arrived, the villa was beautiful, comfortable and exactly what our family needed for our Costa Rica vacation. We especially loved having our own private pool and plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The villa was a perfect home base for us while exploring Tamarindo, going on excursions, enjoying the beach and spending quality time together as a family. The location was convenient, the surroundings were peaceful, and we truly felt at home during our stay. Some of our favorite moments were simply being together at the villa, relaxing by the pool and enjoying the beautiful Costa Rican atmosphere. Our family left with so many wonderful memories, and mVillas was a big part of the experience. We would definitely recommend it to families or groups visiting Tamarindo and would happily stay again. Our check-in was a breeze, we were 3 couples and we were assigned rooms on the right wing, first floor, behind entertainment stage, close to Restaurants, Bars, pool and beach. The rooms are very spacious , clean and comfortable. Must download the Riu app to make reservations, message front desk, entertainment schedules, etc., staff were for the most friendly, nice and attentive, some stood out more than others, like Rafael and Kathy in the Liberia Buffet, food was good and lots to choose from. The Agave Mexican Buffet was somewhat disappointing, some of the food choices were dry, such as the enchiladas, fajitas, enfrijoladas and gorditas, they did have an awesome tortilla soup and shrimp aguachiles. Papagayo Italian Buffet was awesome, everything was fresh, tasty and delicious . Furmada Asian Buffet was a bit disappointing as well, the rice in the Sushi Was too wet and overcooked, Hot and Sour Pork was very dry. The Steakhouse, which is the only one you need a reservation, was also disappointed, steaks were tough and very hard to cut. Tamarindo bar and American country bars were excellent, bartenders were very attentive, such as Oliver, Baldemier, Wilmer. Entertainment was great, specially the foam pool party, the Neon Party, the Michael Jackson Show. Riu Guanacastei It's a fun clean , will definitely visit again

Our stay at this resort was truly unforgettable. The villa rooms were absolutely gorgeous and the private pool with sunset view every evening was absolutely unbelievable. But what truly made our experience exceptional was the staff. I have never experienced such genuinely amazing service. All were great but Cesar specifically, went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, cared for, and truly special. Their warmth, attentiveness, and hospitality made our stay even more memorable. I was so sad to leave them. We wanted to take them back home with us because they were just such kind hearted people.
