"Our stay was wonderful! The charm of this historical home is delightful. Our room was beautifully decorated. The street was very quiet. Each room has access to a balcony or patio. Very easy to access home owner. "

"The house is a welcoming and quiet venue for quiet rest and overnight stays. Room 4 was small and cramped, but the queen sized bed was wedged into the room but was very comfortable. There was no room to walk around it. There was an in room bathroom that was clean and cramped, but it was convenient. We were able to walk to close by restaurants for dinner and breakfast. We then walked to the pier for embarkation for a cruise."

"I finally made it to my room a bit late. I had some quick issues with the temp and television settings. I sent a text to Jim (the owner), and he helped me get comfortable for the night. I loved the personal touch you do not see as good as in large hotel chains. Personalized touch with better shampoo, had wet wipes to use, little things like Listerine to use. I met Jim in the morning and thanked him for all the great hospitality. Very nice and genuine man."

"The property was great after the air conditioning was repaired on the second day. Great location and very clean. Dealing with the hostess was very unpleasant but the upper management/ owner was a caring and honest man. I would stay there again "

"We have stayed in hotels/B&Bs all over the Hill Country. We stayed in the good, the bad and the ugly. This one is in a gray area between the good and the bad. This is an older propery. Fairly well kept. The furniture is cheap and unattractive. The mattress was ok, just very loud when my husband would turn over. There were bugs...mind you mostly dead, but still bugs. Not a huge deal b/c it's in the middle of a tiny forest. We did enjoy our stay but I have suggestions: 1) Check all lights before...

"The Farmstead is charming, quiet and lovely. The grounds are gorgeous and it is perfectly located to reach all the best shopping quickly. Judy (the host) is warm and welcoming. Breakfast is all homemade and yummy. The Farmstead is a fabulous secret find."

"My daughter had an event she attended our first evening so I entertained myself with the Waco picture history books! It was great! We had everything we needed or wanted. The very rainy next day Andy met us with umbrellas which we greatly appreciated. We didn’t get to enjoy the patio due to rain. Such a comfortable place to stay! Thank you!!"

"Al's Auto Attic is an adorable cozy place that met our needs perfectly. It is decorated with an automobile theme that we all really liked. The beds were very comfortable and the water pressure and temperature were awesome!! Gail was very friendly and check in and check out were very easy. Our porch overlooked the pretty courtyard which was relaxing. The location was great for all the things we wanted to do.
