We had an exceptional experience! So serene, so relaxing. Definitely a highlight of our trip.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous hotel. Our private bath was already drawn for us when we checked in and it was the perfect temperature! The staff are all so kind hearted and helpful. The food was divine and the drinks are delicious. We did not want to leave! It was such a wonderful and relaxing stay

Clean room

We had an amazing stay at Yadoya Kikokuso. The service provided was above and beyond and the location in Kyoko was very convenient.

A top notch experience with amazing staff and service. Exceptional rooms and beds. The only negative, and I’m searching here, would be the carpet in the common area needs to be cleaned. I highly recommend!

For anyone that doesn't know the whole Arima area is full of tourist attractions and tons of places to go sight seeing. This is one of the places that happened to be more affordable for me. The service was excellent and so was the food, there's nothing bad I can say about this place, they even offer transportation to nearby areas including shuttle bus service.

100% recommend coming here! I would definitely stay here again. Once you check in, you get a private onsen time. And have an option for an affordable onigiri breakfast. Location is great. Clean and traditional feeling. Friendly staff

Wonderful experience. We experienced a lovely tea ceremony. The hostess was very familiar with the area. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants an authentic Kyoto experience

Absolutely stunning ryokon in a tiny little mountain town just outside kyoto. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating to our needs, even preparing breakfast and transport to the station an hour early so we could catch our next train to tokyo. The ryokon itself was absolutely gorgeous, nestled away in the trees next to a mountain stream, it is a breathtaking picturesque view like something out of a ghibli film. The rooms were quite spacious and very traditional japanese style and the...

Very nice ryokan. Friendly and very attentive staff. They even dried out our wet shoes and umbrella ! Highly recommended

Fantastic property. The description of the property is accurate. The staff were very friendly and accommodating… they waited for us to check-in very late even though we were outside the check-in hours. The onsen experience was fantastic. Our boys ages 19, 16 and 13 originally said they wouldn’t use the onsen, but after they tried it once, they went each day. Some reviews complained about the area being remote, we didn’t find the distance to transit to be an issue at all. It was a quiet...

This hot springs hotel was absolutely fantastic! The rooms and hot springs baths were extremely clean. The staff were more than accommodating and took the time to know each guest and to learn their preferences. The hot springs were so relaxing, I don't think I've ever had a more enjoyable vacation than this. The food was also to die for! Just a heads up though, for those who book the private hot springs, there is a hot springs tax in addition to what you pay for the hotel which comes to 150 yen...

Amazing place to stay in Nara, located right in the Park but in a quiet area. Delicious traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast, they were even able to accommodate vegetarian requests. Sleeping on the tatami was special!! Very attentive and kind staff, the only note is that they don't speak English so make sure to have your phone with you with Google translate, especially at the restaurant. The matcha tea ceremony was cute but very rushed (10 minutes in total).
