"Gym was good, food in the lobby restaurant was great. It was one of the quietest hotels I've ever been at, despite being at the airport. The shuttle is also nice if you have lots of luggage at 4am ;) Great hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when back in Winnipeg."

The Fort Garry Hotel, Spa and Conference Centre, an Ascend Collection Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"I stayed at the Fort Garry Hotel while attending a conference, and it was a wonderful experience! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with so much history and character. I was honestly surprised it wasn't a Fairmont! Our room was great, but I especially want to give a huge shoutout to our housekeeper. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name, but she was working on the 5th floor, had blonde hair, and I believe an accent. She was incredibly kind, accommodating, and efficient. Sometimes we would leave for breakfast and come back less than an hour later to find our beds made, fresh towels, and everything looking perfect. Truly amazing housekeeping! The banquet staff also did a fantastic job throughout the conference, and the meeting spaces were beautiful. I especially loved the halls on the 7th floor, which really showed off the hotel's historic charm. Overall, it was a wonderful stay with great service and a beautiful atmosphere. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!"

"The room was excellent except for one strange design detail: the bathroom has a glass wall with a blind that does not allow for full privacy. Just weird! The parking is minimal , but other than those 2 things I really like this hotel. Excellent location for theatre & dining!"
