"We stayed over the Victoria Day long weekend and had a good experience. Our room was clean and ready when we arrived, which made check-in easy. The hotel is within walking distance of downtown, making it convenient to explore the area without needing to drive. "One of a few beautiful iconic historic resorts left in Ontario. Only 58 rooms and personal touches ... not a huge hotel. Excellent dinner and location. Large pool and great selection of free activities like shuffle board and volley ball. Minor point ... shower curtain needs to be washed to remove mildew smell. Long covered porch with many outside dining tables. Would have been nice if more of this are was used for traditional lounge chairs to relax and read or talk on hot or rainy days."
