My stay at Abasolo Clubhouse in La Paz, Mexico was absolutely incredible from beginning to end! As a solo traveler, I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. I felt comfortable, welcomed, and completely at ease the entire time. It was the perfect combination of beautiful accommodations, a wonderful atmosphere, and an exceptional team that truly cares about its guests. The rooms were fantastic, beautifully appointed, comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully maintained. Everything felt fresh and inviting, and the attention to detail really stood out. The entire property was immaculately clean and exceptionally well maintained. You could tell that the team takes a lot of pride in the property and in creating a wonderful experience for everyone who stays there. And the staff was truly the highlight. Everyone was friendly, attentive, professional, and incredibly welcoming. A very special thank-you to Mar and Ana, who went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality made such a difference, especially as a solo traveler. They made me feel welcomed and looked after without ever being intrusive, and their wonderful energy made my stay even more memorable. Traveling alone can sometimes feel a little intimidating, but Abasolo Clubhouse was absolutely perfect for a solo trip. I felt safe, comfortable, and connected while still having plenty of of privacy and space to relax. Thank you to the entire team! I’ll be back!

You get a beautiful view from almost all locations. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I didn't eat at all of the restaurants but the pizza at Il Forno was good. As were the drinks! I would have liked to see a few Mexican options on the menu, but, I could have ventured around the property to a different restaurant if it was really an issue. It was low season, but they seemed fully staffed and everything was open. The only comment I have is that I waited over an hour for help with my luggage on check out, despite making several calls. I had given myself plenty of time for the airport, but that could have been an issue for someone on a tighter schedule.

Even in the so called “off-season” the staff were just as attentive as if they had a full house. We saw how they cared for every corner of the resort keeping it impeccable, from painting small scuffs daily to personnel cleaning the pool at 9pm daily. Our Jr Suite was perfect, met all our needs, and was tended to daily (even if we chose to not need towels changed that frequently). Pool/beach towels provided and can also be changed daily. The roped off beach front area with chairs and umbrella was super convenient and a safe place to leave items even when taking long walks down the beach or taxi boats to surrounding spots. The staff at the beach were attentive and ready to bring fresh food and drinks at a moment’s notice. A particular thanks to Carlos of the beach staff who was nothing short of kind, helpful, thoughtful, and generous. Resort staff were all excellent and a particular thanks to concierge Giovanni who made some recommendations for excursions which really matched our personal style and choices, resulting in one of the best days off-resort. Also the evening valet who quickly and easily retrieved a much needed item from our parked car late one evening. The quality of food, both at the resort and at nearby restaurants was fantastic; just when we thought we couldn’t eat a better meal, we would yet again find something even more delicious! A shout out to La Lupitas for the ultimate taco experience. Even with the cruise ships affecting the quiet waters, we loved it!
