Be sure you know what hotel you're booking. All of our friends booked Riu Palace Baja California, we booked Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas. Thank God they were only a kilometer apart. Staff was great. Most guest-facing staff spoke English, and I feel like they all went through some levels of guest service training. Food was average. Walls were paper thin with drunken kids screaming down the hallways at 3am.

Just came back from our spring break vacation. We had twelve people in our group.(Kids , teenagers, adults and seniors. ) everyone enjoyed the this vacation. So many different activities for us to do. The property was so clean , the staff was excellent , the food was pretty good. We’re definitely going back next year.

Information we received before we booked said NO Spring Breakers unless with a parent, WRONG. Too many Spring Breakers. The first part of trip, Pepe's by the pool offered Taco's, shrimp, ribs plus hamburgers and hotdogs. On the weekend and the next week, they only offered hamburgers, hotdogs and nachos. Best meal was breakfast buffet. Irma was fantastic, she worked outside at the breakfast buffet. Also, Raul at the Italian buffet for lunch was also great. Our favorite bartender at night was Miguel. Reason for disappointing, Spring Breakers, lack of service the second week and we had a problem with TV in our room near the end of our trip and they were not concerned.

The housekeeper’s carts are very noisy on those floor tiles, they should change the wheels for bigger ones to make them more quiet. The pickle ball court’s surface needs to be renewed and the bottom of the fence needs to be repaired because the balls are going out from the court!!! Anything else was very good.

Riu Palace is a great blend of upscale and casual. Staff are great. Wish they offered more entertainment options that didn’t require walking to nearby Riu Santa Fe. But on the whole, wonderful all inclusive option.

This resort exceeded my expectations. We read the reviews online and started to get worried but I do not know where all the bad reviews are coming from. The staff was so helpful, the food was really good for it to be all inclusive, there was unlimited drinks, water when necessary, the beach was beautiful, taxi services were SO easy. I am super pleased with how much we spent for this trip and am definitely wanting to go back!
