"Second stay at Shamrock apartments another great stay. So close to all amenities, bus terminal so close, restaurants, shops etc.. hosts are attentive and quick to respond to any enquires. Appartment has everything you could need for your stay. Pool is small but clean. Plenty of sunbeds. Only negative not the appartments fault but a Scottish lady decided to sunbathe topless (which is not allowed) next to my 80 year old father, just because she wanted the particular bed he was using!! "

"We were here in July and we baked. The coin operated air conditioner is in the bedroom only and the rest is fans. The apartment is 3m wide by 30m long, so the AC definitely won't work on the space outside the bedroom. The description in Expedia is inaccurate. "I found the property was fully equipped for my needs and the view from the balcony was beautiful. It is also in an ideal situation overlooking the bay in a quiet area but close to shops and restaurants. It was easy to get around the island using the local buses from bus stops very close to the apartment. The check in was was friendly and efficient. I would recommend the place and would book again when, and not if, I go back to Malta"

""Pool" is tiny, not big enough to swim in, more a plunge pool. Long, black hairs in the bed on arrival (I have short, brown hair). Hairs and stains and scuff marks on the sofa and chair. Wallpaper damaged, squeaky bed, towel rail broken in one bathroom, shower rail broken in the other. Kettle didn't work. Crockery was a mish mash, much of it was plastic picnicware. "The two apartments are spacious, clean and situated near both local amenities and Bugibba itself. The apartments were quiet and felt very safe for our range of ages (5 to 57). The sea view was lovely. Milena was great and very helpful when we needed to leave our bags due to a late departure. I would highly recommend the apartments."

"The apartment is fabulous. We were met at the airport by Clare who gave very clear instructions on how to gain access to the property and a booklet that had useful maps. The decor of the accommodation is great and we felt very comfortable there. It is spotlessly clean. The location is good and the views from the balcony are tremendous. We had a lovely holiday. Thank you. We would highly recommend this apartment."
