Better area than the place a little forget down Reseda. Fairly close to CSUN. Only complaint is that the room smelled faintly of cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. Staff was nice, room was reasonably clean. Overall good experience. Would definitely stay there again.
This is not a fancy place but it is very clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable and the towels were soft. If you want an inexpensive but clean place to stay, this is it. A little road noise since you are right on the freeway but it didn't keep me up at night.
"Decent hotel, close to our friend who lives in LA "
Very accommodating staff, we arrived three hours before our check in time and they allowed us to leave our luggage in a room so we didn't have to carry it around with us until we were allowed to check in, house keeping very respectful of privacy, we used the do no disturb signs and that's exactly what happened! Rooms are cleaned to a good standard also, the rooms themselves are very large, with amneties if you're staying for a long time I.e. Fridge, drawers etc. Breakfast is OK, I would have liked to have seen maybe yogurt or something there but there's still plenty of options, I can't really comment on the pool as I didn't use it but everytime I looked in there was no one there so maybe they're doing something wrong there?... Overall I had a good experience there and would most definitely stay again
Simply known as “The Valley,” this sprawling area includes the suburbs of Encino, Northridge, and Van Nuys. But Burbank is the key attraction, as several movie and TV studios are based here. Universal Studios’ theme park combines tourism with the local craft. Griffith Park provides much needed green in a city known for its smog. Nearby, the Burbank airport is an alternative to LAX.
