Hotel is near highways (I like it since we were mostly going out).
The few things I noticed where some chipping paint in the room and the screen for the terrace was broken (yes 2nd floor rooms get to have terrace!) but overall the room was clean and spacious, bed was comfy no stains, plenty of sockets to charge phones etc.
The buildings were inside a gated compound (which makes it safe) and has parking. There's also the outdoor pool (water was clear, but pool needed cleaning with the leaves and a few bugs) which was a nice place to hang out after a long day.
No frills, clean. Room was very large and bed very comfortable. Room had a.bit of a musty smell with a/c off, but not overly so. Very nice and accommodating staff. No iron or ironing board. Fair value for the.money.
Simply known as “The Valley,” this sprawling area includes the suburbs of Encino, Northridge, and Van Nuys. But Burbank is the key attraction, as several movie and TV studios are based here. Universal Studios’ theme park combines tourism with the local craft. Griffith Park provides much needed green in a city known for its smog. Nearby, the Burbank airport is an alternative to LAX.
