Location, Location, Location...this private & completely remodeled studio sits in the middle of San Diego's lovely Hillcrest neighborhood. A 5 minute walk takes you to Whole Foods, Trader Joe's or Ralph's for shopping ~ and many of the trendy restaurants / bars / cafe's & shops are close by. Zoo, Balboa Park, Gaslamp, Downtown less than 5 minutes away - Airport, Beaches 10 minute ride away.
The studio is downstairs from the main house with a separate entrance & completely private

Comfortable spot in the center of San Diego
My partner and I had a great stay! The lodging was in a perfect location - walkable to the vibrant Hillcrest neighborhood, and a short drive to downtown, beaches, Old Town, and all that San Diego has to offier.

It was a cute little studio that offered us a good place to stop by and relax in between checking out all that San Diego had to offer! We appreciated there being a fridge and microwave because we didn’t want to eat out the entire weekend we were there. Communication from the host was great, privacy was great, we were worried about not finding street parking, but surprisingly we did not struggle with that (maybe just our luck!). The neighborhood was also nice and had several places nearby that were great; coffee shops, a ramen place, a few thrift stores and a movie theater all within walking distance! Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and would definitely book again if need be.

Perfect location for Hillcrest
The property is perfect for one or two people. It's cute, and so close to all things in Hillcrest. I did not need a car for nothing in Hillcrest. Short Uber ride to Zoo and other attractions.

Clean and quaint quarters within walking distance to anything you need. Visited my son and family and provided the perfect spot to spend the night. No television but no need for one. Bed, coffee, fridge, kitchenette, microwave, chairs and counter, and spacious bathroom with many toiletries. Detailed instructions provided by host. Thanks again!

Beautiful Stay
My partner and I were visiting San Diego for my birthday and our 3rd wedding anniversary. The location of the studio apartment is absolutely perfect. We walked all over Balboa Park, we walked to tons of different spots for food, coffee, and entertainment. And it was so lovely to see so many people like us walking around (wonderful queer folk). We felt safe, we were able to completely disconnect from work, and we are already planning another trip back.

Accurate as described! Great neighborhood, everything needed within a few blocks distance. Nice touches with extra plugs ins, fan, ac, medium sized fridge, microwave, toaster, small coffee maker, soap, shampoo, long mirror. Andrew was super friendly and gave suggestions for fun things to check out. We were out and about most of day so perfect spot for evening relaxing and place to sleep. Just as other noted from other comments, upstairs noise (if other bnb is occupied and traffic pretty noisy. Used earphones and was able to sleep though. Bed is pretty comfy.

We didn’t go into this with any crazy expectations. But upon arriving we were just two blocks from amazing food places and easy freeway access. Inside the property itself was really clean and had so many different amenities. The host had forks, iron, coffee, etc. You name it and the host had it ready for you. We had the pleasure of meeting Andrew. And he was such a nice and easy going guy. Very pleasant and cared about our experience in San Diego. Only recommendation I could find is to have a full body mirror for the ladies as that was the only thing needed while getting ready. Everything was great though and we definitely want to come back and do it again!

Property was clean and comfortable. Great location within a short drive to everything in San Diego. Freeway noise was negated by air conditioner. Some noise early in the morning could be heard from upstairs. All in all, nice place to stay. I'd recommend to anyone wanting to see all San Diego has to offer.
