The rooms were clean and nicely decorated.The location is great and we easily Uber our way to Seaport Village, Little Italy and old Town. I stayed during a busy holiday weekend so it took a while to get through to housekeeping and the restaurant.

Location was lovely. Great option for families as there is a pool to enjoy and a park walking distance. We stayed in a king suite room with kids sleeping in the living room. Our room was clean and well kept for the most part. The kitchen was a little run down and minimally stocked

We like the location of the property and the friendly staff. The hotel definitely needs some updating and refreshing, especially for the pricing. Being across from the water is awesome. Parking should be included in price. This is our go to place when we come down to visit SD.

Too many hidden charges almost doubling the advertised amount. I'm an early rizzer and I asked the front desk where I could find some coffee. I was told my room. I kindly told them there was only decaffeinated coffee in the room plus my wife was asleep. Found a coffee house on Google maps and walked. Parking was fine, but they charged for that as well when one could park across the street for free.

I wanted easy access to views and walking by the water at an affordable price once I was going to spend the weekend in San Diego and I got it. The money I saved covered getting to town when I needed to for my conference. The hotel staff were super helpful and the room modest, clean, and cozy. I arrived early and they were able to get us into a room early. Also at the tail end of my stay, I had an afternoon flight and late checkout was not a problem. I loved being able to walk out of my room and walk along the marina or just go across the street and walk along the ocean side of this narrow island with views into the Pacific. The whole stretch of the island is a park with a wide pathway with periodic flower covered structures that made for great photos! I stayed near the main building with easy access to the large main pool. It was delightful to take an evening swim, just the right temperature and beautifully landscaped. The hot tub was perfect to warm up on chilly nights. I noticed young families enjoying the complementary premium floaties, any kid’s dream come true! I cannot say enough good things about the food! Breakfast, lunch, or dinner were all superb start to finish. I especially enjoyed the omelettes, clam chowder, beet salad, and salmon Wellington, all of which I ordered more than once. They have a divine flourless chocolate cake served with raspberry sorbet that made a perfect treat for my sister’s birthday! And delicious free coffee in the lobby in the morning!
