Our stay at the River del Rio was absolutely fantastic! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Both our room and all of the hotel common areas were beautifully decorated. Our room was large, clean, with a great shower and jet bath. The rooftop pool was absolutely lovely with a great view of Zona Romantica. Jerry the bartender was excellent, serving delicious drinks and answering any questions we had. Would love to go again!

Wow! This property is so unique and is full of antiques whoch really goves it character! I stayed in the Coryez Suite and was amazed by the layout and size of the suite. Too bad i was only there for one evening. I highly recommend wnd eill definitely be back!

Very cool hotel a short walk from the more touristy area. I loved how eclectic and unique the hotel was and the roof top pool and bar with an absolutely stunning views. It’s not a five diamond hotel if that’s what you like, but it’s clean, well appointed, and so much better than more traditional cookie cutter hotels. IMHO

We fell in love with Rivera del Rio: such a unique hotel with a lot of charm. The room was clean and uniquely decorated, and the view from our terrace to Cuale river was fab. The hotel has a hottub and two great pools, one lower level and one rooftop with bar which was amazing with spectacular views. Breakfast was delicious! Everyone in the staff is so friendly and helpful and we had a great time!! And the proximity to everything is so convenient: Malecon, cafe's, restaurants, everything walking distance. Thank you everyone at Rivera del Rio for such a wonderful time! We will come back.

This is a very unique property. Every room is individually decorated. It’s totally funky and artistic. The problem is noise! Our first room was nice and had a great big balcony overlooking the river! The problem was the next door neighbors dog barking loudly all night long. There was also street noise and people yelling. We asked to be moved. We were moved and the room looked fantastic but we soon realized other people could see into our room from multiple directions. This hotel is put together with French doors and glass walls. Its not a actual hotel with private rooms. The worst part was the hotel laundry facilities were directly behind our wall. We were up until midnight listening to the dryer. On top of that the next morning there was hardly any water coming out of the shower. I do not recommend this hotel at all.
