The whole hotel and rooms are very clean. Breakfast included with fruits, yogurt, bread, coffee, tea, cereal and hard boiled eggs. Great view of ocean from pool balcony and restaurant. A nice view of the mountains from room. During my stay I didn’t notice much staff being constantly available if I needed anything, which for me is not an issue, but if your looking to be waited on throughout the whole day you will not find that here. If I did need something I had to text the owner who did a good job at responding. Wifi was weak in the room until I contacted the owner and he had me hook up to the room wifi and then the wifi was very strong. Wifi very strong in restaurant and pool area as well. Pool looked clean and taken care off. Now the first day we stayed was not good at night. There was younger people partying all night long out our window until about 3am. I seen the cops drive by and then it was quiet. BUT I will say after that night for the rest of the trip it was nice and quiet. And i noticed its possible the owner had hired some security at night to help keep it quiet. Beds are comfortable. The hill up to hotel is a good incline. Ubers had no problem picking up and dropping off. The walk up the hill isn’t too bad but if your older or have walking issues I would recommend a car service. The road can be very uneven and steep. Walkable to town and back but the hill is a workout! Our first few days we hardly saw anyone, like having the place to our selves. Jonathan and his staff were very helpful. Pros: -Free self serve breakfast with coffee, toast, yogurt, cereals etc -Purified water dispenser in room and changed often -Heated infinite pool and hot jacuzzi -Spacious apartment with amazing view from terrace -Amazing views of Puerto Vallarta from just about everywhere at the hotel -Affordable happy hour at the bar with strong drinks, and tasty food at the restaurant -Quiet at night for sleeping (and daytime too, felt like the hotel was empty) -Daily room cleaning was excellent -Strong air conditioning in bedroom Cons: -Street kids that hang out near the entrance of the hotel. These are young men who “make deliveries” on motorcycles around town although I must say they keep to themselves. -There is essentially no security for the hotel. Very close to the Romantic Zone and the beach. A big con is you have to cross a very busy highway to get to those things and it can be kind of treacherous. You will also burn a lot of calories walking up and down the hill if you dont use taxi or ubers. But overall we loved being tucked away in a more quiet area with a spectacular view. There is a coffee maker included in the room, but no coffee or filters. I wish we had known that! We went out every morning to get coffee. Desperately needs to be upgraded. Pool had no bartender or service the whole time. No service at the front desk, office was mainly closed. Hotel restaurant closed all day Sunday. Paid $1,600\. Wasn't worth it at all. The wifi signal was not available in bedrooms, just living room. A/C was only available in bedrooms. The entire power went out on our last day. Lots of music noise from neighboring resorts. Nice pools, tiles were coming off. Poor lighting by the pool area at night.
