The Pathmaker Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Front desk Jen was friendly & knowledgeable & we chatted daily. The room was very large & clean. The bed was comfortable & the white duvet made it feel like home. Breakfast included menu had a great variety of dishes to choose from & all were delicious with each plate adorned with a variety of fresh fruit & muffin. All restaurant personnel were also friendly. We also enjoyed the fresh baked cookies every afternoon. Would highly recommend this hotel which was a 3-4 minute walk to the Bar Harbor sandbar."

The Inn on Mount Desert

10/10 Excellent

"Our stay was great! The Inn is located just ~10 minute walk to downtown Bar Harbor, very convenient to restaurants and shops. The staff was great - especially Paul, Pauline and Roz. They made delicious breakfast every morning, and were quick to refill the coffee urn. The King room was roomy and the bed very comfortable. There are some signs of wear throughout the Inn - perhaps a fresh coat of paint would freshen it up a bit. There is ample parking behind the Inn. Would definitely return for future visits."

2 BR Apt Walkable to inside Park! [Acadia Outpost]

10/10 Excellent

"This place was all that we needed for a weekend of hiking and biking. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, excellent reading material available, and located minutes from the trails and carriage roads. I had limited cell service at the rental, so make sure you have access to the check-in information before arriving."

Wonderful views of Somes Sound and Sargent Mountain

10/10 Excellent

"The property was cozy and perfect for my family. We slept seven comfortably (4 adults, 3 children). The location was quiet, with a great view and nightly visits from several local deer. It was close enough to everything you would want from a visit to Acadia NP, yet it allowed for a peaceful retreat from the crowds. The cottage was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals (there's an IGA grocery store a few miles south for stuff you may forget). Property owner was available for questions and quick to respond. I would recommend this location and would stay there again."

Quiet oasis across the street from Acadia and just steps from the harbor

10/10 Excellent

"The amenities this close to the park made this place the perfect stay!Property itself is quirky, and finding it in the dark without cell service is not something I’d recommend, but it was an excellent place for our Acadia trip!"

Harbourside Inn

10/10 Excellent

"The inn was a lovely example of New England B&B experience. Quaint room design and excellent proximity to carriage roads and hiking trails. Staff was really nice and helpful! Pointed us toward some local points of interest. The “breakfast” was minimal, muffins and mini-quiches with some fruit. But it was enough to get a day started and the coffee was good."
