"A beautiful historical hotel in the heart of the old town. Everything was exceptional. My only complaint is that the thermostat is locked and 24C is uncomfortably warm for sleeping. "

"The hotel is a beautiful old master of its day, but a little tired. It could use some upgrades to carpets and paint. The breakfast room in the cellar was beautiful & elegant! The staff was simply stellar! The room they assigned was too noisy (super busy street!) so they very graciously made a change for us to a quiet room - with a sweet little balcony. Great size room and bathroom with fluffy towels and good bed. A refrigerator would have been really nice. The ‘service’ room Is brilliant! You can help yourself to plates, silverware, glasses, ice and even a washer and dryer. Their rooftop is open for lounging or watching the stars. "

"We felt very welcome. Staff was very efficient, kind and helped us with all of our questions. We were welcomed with a choice of drink and bus pass valid during our stay. Breakfast was great. We did appreciate the third floor snack bar for late night munchies and availability of drinks without going out. The room was very clean and unique. We loved how the balcony overlooked the garden and we could get a breeze when we wanted. "
