« Fair warning to all travelers, screen shot the instructions to get into the cottage before you leave Pāhoa as the reception is spotty at best. I had to drive all the way back to Pahoa to get the information onto my phone. Cottage is quaint and small but delivers what was Expected. Clean, ac worked quite well, all the amenities you Would need. Beach across the way is an optional clothing beach so be aware if you have kids lol. It’s a taste of actually Hawaii living and not at a resort. Sofa...

« I spent 10 nights here in November. This is a very clean cottage, very well maintained. The owner/host is awesome and was in the area taking care of his other cottages so I spoke with him a couple times. He even stopped by and dropped off a new air fryer for me one day. Worked out great for fish and crabcakes from Pahoa. What’s incredible about this place is the location. It’s right in the middle of the red road along the south eastern cliffs of the big island. this is easily the closest...

« Fabulous place to stay! Everything was clean and the processes were easy to follow. When I needed help it was immediately available. Traveling alone I didn’t need a two bedroom but it was a delicious indulgence in a great location and very comfortable, at a very fair price. I’m glad I found it and I would stay again. I loved having access to the washer/dryer.Note: The geothermal ponds a few miles away were an unexpected surprise, as was the Sunday afternoon drum and dancing circle down the...
