We Checked Out Early! We rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at this property was disappointing enough that we decided to check out early and move to another hotel. We booked the Privilege Package on the adults-only side, expecting elevated service and amenities. Unfortunately, the experience did not reflect what was advertised. Service was a consistent issue throughout the stay. The front desk rarely answered calls, and when we arrived our room was not ready until 4 PM. Although we were told we would be notified when the room was ready, no one contacted us. We had to repeatedly return to the front desk to check ourselves. Food options were also very limited. Most restaurants close at 10 PM, and there are no late-night options on the property, not even a coffee shop. For a resort of this size, that was surprising. In addition, the food often did not taste freshly prepared, and after drinking the water I unfortunately became sick during our stay. The Privilege package advertises butler service and transportation by cart, which was one of the reasons we booked it. One evening it was raining heavily and we requested cart service to get to dinner. We were told the cart was unavailable because it was charging, which meant we had to walk in the rain and arrived completely soaked. The gym facilities were also disappointing.
