"I’ve been coming for about 7 years now. Recently noticed that pets are allowed in property which makes it not as quiet and relaxing as before. I don’t want to sit in a restaurant with a dog in the next table, is not sanitary. The food at The Marea needs a revamp. Used to be great when sushi was in the menu. Attention was good, however the pool area needed more servers, waited a long time to get order taken ( the only server was engaged in conversation with an elderly couple for well over 30 minutes and ignoring the rest of the guests). Rooms need minor upgrades, like new hinges on doors ( rusty hinges and patio door hardware). Beds were comfortable and clean as well as the towels. Breakfast buffet was good, great selection and friendly staff but expensive! There was bad weather throughout my stay and the staff made sure they had activities for the guests since we were kind of shut in our rooms. I’ll continue to visit as I love the property but hopefully this suggestions get taken into consideration. "

"The property has so much potential, is Beautiful, has small beach, (it can be cleaned) but is a plus. It has it's cons though, the menu at the restaurant is very limited, not entertainment available(speciallyat night time, no music, it needs some fun)The place could be more alive, but that's my personal perspective, overall we Recommend it, sunsets views are Amazing, awesome place to enjoy with the family. "

"Amazing stay the water is beautiful to swim in there, take a kayak, or sit in a hammock. Lots of iguanas and the staff is great. Rooms are very clean. Gas station, bar restaurant, and coffee shack across the street "
