That was way to short considering all there is to do down there. We had plan all our activities before arriving to Vilma's place. I would recommand you contact Vilma before you visit, beacause she has so many ideas and places to go, Unfortunately we were out of time.The property is really well equiped, lot of space a nice backyard that was missing a bit of shade but very convinient.Thanks Erasmo and Vilam for your great hospitaliity. ##### Jacques F. She came over and met us when we checked in and came over to say goodbye. We liked the 11a.m. checkout rather than 10 that most places require. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and has plenty of plates, cups, glasses, and flatware( some places do not). The beds were very comfortable, and the neighborhood is very quiet. The location is very close to one of the entrances to the Everglades, and about an hour’s drive to downtown Miami. All in my group would highly recommend Vilma’s house for a very pleasant stay. We wanted to be near the speedway as we were there for the Triathlon National Championship. Later on, the athletes needed a place to stay and the group grew to 8, then 10 and finally the last addition for a grand total of 11\. Vilma was very accommodating with all the adjustments and a great communicator. However, I would not recommend the house for so many people, 8-10 adults is the max, especially if there are mixed genders and non family members sharing rooms and bathrooms. The beds are comfortable and the house very spacious for eating/relaxing. The back patio was my favorite spot in the evening! Thanks Vilma, we hope to be back next year! ##### Sara B. The house is very well stocked with everything one needs to feel at home away from home. It was an excellent stay and a great base for us to explore the Everglades. The check-in process was smooth, the rental was extremely homey, it was exceptionally clean, and we haven’t stopped talking about how comfortable the mattresses were. After checkout, at which time Mrs, Vilma came to see us off, we had a phone call 5 minutes later to let us know we left our GoPro behind! We would definitely stay here again, and will definitely be recommending this listing to others! ##### Erin T. From the thoroughly equipped kitchen to everything you need for a beach excursion, this place has it all! Vilma and Erasmo are WONDERFUL hosts with their own recommendations and brochues about where to go and what to do. Within 20 minutes of their house, we were on a beach watching wild manatees in the Atlantic Ocean. We also took day trips to Everglades National Park and the Florida Keys where we took great photos of wildlife. This house is immaculate, every inch! Linens are plentiful and beautiful. Furniture, including beds, is all comfy and in good shape. The BIG fenced backyard is great for kids, and the back patio with lots of seating and a BBQ grill is a great space. We came in very late after delayed planes but the hostess met us with a warm smile and fresh water and muffins. The place was so beautifully decorated for the holidays and felt so inviting from the moment we entered. Everyone was so impressed. She went above and beyond to accommodate us as we had many questions about local activities. It was a relaxing and peaceful time with all the coziness of home. It was spotless and well stocked.
