"Location overlooks some nice open-air restaurants and bars, so can be noisy at night which didn't bother me but something to consider. Several malls next door, convenient area for shopping and eating. Clean however air conditioning in my room reported that it needed a filter change and the room was slightly musty. Reception is never manned and you have to press a button to speak to the owner remotely. "Location, location, location Fabulous hotel right I the middle of the city. Next door to Raffles and at one end of Orchard Road. There is a massive Mall (Raffles City) opposite where you can buy anything that you may need. It’s within five minutes of the underground system and less than a fifteen minute stroll to all the major attractions. The hotel Itself is very clean and modern with everything that you need to make your stay comfortable. The staff were amazing. Leah even recommended a curry house in the suburbs was was wonderful. He made sure to chat with us whenever he saw us and made us feel Even more welcomed. We will stay at the Carlton if we’re ever back in Singapore. Why stay anywhere else when it has everything you need. "
