10/10 Excellent

"The private pool was the main reason we chose this resort, and to be fair, it was exactly as advertised. We really enjoyed it. That said, the service left room for improvement. There were four guests in our room, but only two bath towels were provided upon arrival. We asked for additional towels more than three times, but they never arrived. That was definitely disappointing and not what we expected. As for the food, the Asian and Italian options were unfortunately among the least impressive we’ve had at a Jamaican resort. On the other hand, the Jamaican food was excellent and easily one of the highlights of our stay. Anyone familiar with Jamaica knows that Negril has some of the most beautiful beaches and clearest water on the island. Spending time out on the water in a kayak is an experience that’s hard to beat, and the variety of water activities available here is exceptional. In fact, we enjoyed the sea so much that our private pool ended up feeling a little unnecessary. Overall, we had a good stay. Negril itself remains one of our favourite places in Jamaica, and that alone is enough to make us want to come back."

Hotel Riu Palace Tropical Bay - All Inclusive

"The Riu tropical is a beautiful property with tons of amenities for everyone of all ages. The rooms were clean and well stocked each day with water etc. There are several places to eat on the property (just mk sure you mk your reswevations ahead if time cause they book fast). There are a few bars, coffee shop etc and a jerk hut on the beach. The entertainment each day was great. There are 3 pools, 1 with a swim up bar. The beach had pleny of chairs. The staff was exceptional and very welcoming and helpful. You book excursions right at the hotel. The only issue we had was that a fire alarm went off twice with an announcement to stay in place while being investigated. I work in commercial property management so I understand the stay in place but there was never a follow-up to give an all clear or even an explanation. There should always be an all clear or next step announcement. Other than that the property was perfect and we will return."

"The room was clean and cool upon entrance. The grounds are well kept as well as most of the staff are friendly and helpful, shootout to Blair the lifeguard who made our stay smooth as well as the security who brought our bags to our room kudos to him. On the website it says complimentary breakfast but that doesn't comprise of the ackee and saltfish on their Instagram page. However you must give that a try. All meals we're excellent in my opinion. Another thing to note it is a cashless property so ensure that you have a working card. They also have $200 usd security deposit that must be paid upon checking in. Rooms are equipped with lotion, hand soap shampoo conditioner and shower gel. Housekeeping is present everyday and mini bar is available at an additional cost. Overall it was an excellent stay will definitely be back"

Sandals Negril - ALL INCLUSIVE Adults Only

"Sandals Negril Jamaica was a perfect vacation for my husband and I in every way. We enjoyed a beautiful quiet room on the ground floor near the aqua center. This gave us easy access to book glass, bottom boat, tours, snorkeling, adventures, and other water sports. Are walk to the beach was two minutes. The king-size bed was perfect, and the staff made sure that we had cold water and juices whenever we needed them. The room is outfitted with complementary Red Lane spa soaps, lotions and shampoos. I had the best massage in my life from Bent! She is an expert masseuse and used the Himalayan salt stones for deep tissue work. We also had an incredible photo shoot compliments of sandals from O’Neil! He is a master of his graft. And Bea took great care of us at the photo center! All of the meals, including the variety of authentic Jamaican dishes for breakfast lunch and dinner were top-notch! Authentic Jamaican, coffee, breakfast at the barefoot by the sea restaurant, and a wonderful coffee shop called Crema! Sandals Negril should be awarded for hiring outstanding customer service staff who are warm, knowledgeable, and diligent! Nightly life music from steel pan performances, to retro music reviews, fire shows on the beach and a circus act with karaoke and a DJ into the early morning! Truly, our trip was outstanding, and we have already booked our next Sandals adventure! If you want first class taxi service, ask for Mark! We cannot wait to return!"
