« Great little house next to the owner's house. Not a lot of space but cozy. Owner is easy to reach and answers questions quickly. Warm welcome. However the location is not that convenient as it is a good 25 min from Hilo, and the roosters and dogs of the neighborhood are very noisy at night... »

« Fair warning to all travelers, screen shot the instructions to get into the cottage before you leave Pāhoa as the reception is spotty at best. I had to drive all the way back to Pahoa to get the information onto my phone. Cottage is quaint and small but delivers what was Expected. Clean, ac worked quite well, all the amenities you Would need. Beach across the way is an optional clothing beach so be aware if you have kids lol. It’s a taste of actually Hawaii living and not at a resort. Sofa...

« We spent 3 nights at Raul’s guesthouse which felt more like a very spacious condo! It is safe with a gated driveway and a backyard that never ends! The fruit trees, the flowers and the landscape are absolutely stunning. Now for interior, there are only positives critiques to be said here. Everything is high end, they provide you with so many things that it is easy to cook your own meals! They have lots of pots and pans, dishes etc… but no condiments. Every inch of this place is taken care of....
